About

Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair does mobile truck repair, emergency roadside repair, and trailer repair across Forrest City. When a rig goes down on I-40, Highway 1, or in a yard off Broadway, we bring the truck, the tools, and the parts to you. No tow to a shop, no waiting days for a bay. You call, we show up, and we tell you what it needs before we start turning wrenches.
This shop runs the way drivers want a repair to run. You call with a symptom. We ask the right questions, get to your location in or around Forrest City, and diagnose the problem before any work starts. Then you get a straight answer on what it costs and how long it takes.
If it is a jumpstart at 2 a.m., an air brake fix at a fuel stop in Brinkley, or a cooling system repair in your own yard, the process is the same: find the real problem, fix it right, and get you rolling. Working trucks around east Arkansas face long hauls, heavy loads, and Delta heat that kills tires, batteries, and cooling systems. We stock for the failures we see most, so most roadside calls end with a repair, not a tow.
Fleet operators and owner-operators alike get the same treatment: fair rates, honest timelines, and work we stand behind. That is why drivers on the I-40 corridor save this number before they need it.

What local drivers say
5.0 out of 5 from 34 reviews on Google.
Yesterday 10/5/26 needed a Jumpstart on my semi. Called around and got the run around. I'm a trucker familiar with the area yet not familiar with the services. Called the Ace! Rickey by chance nonetheless and my man's pulled up on me in 30 of em (meaning time 30minutes) I also need to point out Rickey was in forest city A.R. and I was in Brinkley A.R. enough of me babbling though I'll say this and leave it be. When in doubt give Rickey a shout and he'll show up and show out! And won't depart until your vehicle starts. Easy on the pockets and he won't be forgotten! At any rate I suggest you holla at Rickey Alexander a man of compassion and character. Thanks again!
Exceptional service. Called and wait time was fast. Affordable rates and knowledgeable
very good affordable service i would recommend him to anyone!!!

Straight answers before you call
Can you repair my truck out by the port or on a Delta county road?
Yes. Our repair trucks run the full Helena-West Helena area, including the riverfront district, the Helena Bridge approach and the county roads west of Crowley's Ridge. Give us the road name, a mile marker or a nearby landmark, and we will find the truck. Most repairs happen on site, so there is no tow unless the job truly needs one.
How does a mobile repair work if my trailer is loaded at a dock in West Helena?
We work on trailers where they sit, including loaded units at docks and lots in West Helena. Tell us what the failure is, whether it is brakes, tires, suspension or lights, and we bring the parts and equipment for that job. If the load has to transfer before a repair is safe, we will tell you up front rather than improvise on site.
What if my truck dies on the Helena Bridge or US 49 south of town?
A dead unit on or near the bridge is a traffic hazard, so call us first at (870) 270-4001 and describe the exact spot. If the truck can be moved safely to a shoulder or a lot, do that, then stay with it. We run 24 hours a day and will head out to the location with the diagnostic gear and common parts for air brakes, electrical faults and cooling systems.
Do you service the smaller farm and aggregate trucks working the Delta routes?
We do. Alongside semi tractors and trailers, we handle commercial trucks of other sizes on the roads around Helena-West Helena, including jumpstarts, alternator and starter repair, tire replacement and hydraulic work. If it earns money hauling in Phillips County, it is worth a call before you trailer it somewhere.
How much does a mobile truck repair cost?
Price comes down to four things: what the repair actually involves, the parts it needs, how long the work runs, and whether the truck is roadside or parked. Before any wrench turns, you get a clear estimate built from those factors, so you know the number before we start and nothing changes after.
What areas do you serve around Forrest City, AR?
We run out of Forrest City and cover the I-40 corridor plus surrounding towns: Brinkley, Wynne, Marianna, West Memphis, Marion, Helena-West Helena, Hughes, Earle, Parkin, Palestine, and Colt. Call (870) 270-4001 with your location and we will confirm we can reach you and how soon.
How soon can you come out for a repair?
Breakdown calls move as fast as you can get us a location. Planned work, like fleet maintenance or a pre-trip inspection, gets booked at a time that fits your route. The sooner you call, the sooner we roll, so ring (870) 270-4001 as soon as you know you need us.
Are you open nights and weekends?
Yes. Trucks do not break down on a schedule, so we run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A 2 a.m. air brake fault near West Memphis or a Sunday cooling system failure outside Wynne both get answered. Call any hour and we will tell you what happens next.
What should I do while waiting for roadside service?
Move off the roadway as far as you safely can, set your hazards, and note a mile marker, exit, or crossroads. Then call (870) 270-4001 with a short description of the problem. Those details let us load the right parts and tools so one trip does the job.
What happens when you arrive at my truck?
First we look the truck or trailer over and explain what we found before any repair starts. You get the plan and the price up front, then the work happens on site. Most roadside calls are finished where you sit, which means you drive out instead of waiting on a tow.
Do you fix both the tractor and the trailer on one visit?
Yes. One call covers the whole rig: semi trucks, trailers, air brakes, tires, electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, and more, all from the mobile unit. A tractor and trailer do not need two different shops, and the work happens wherever the combination is parked or stopped in our area.
Do I need an appointment or can I call for a same-day fix?
Both work. Breakdowns get priority, so same-day roadside response is the normal way we operate. Planned jobs like transmission repair or alternator and starter replacement can be booked ahead at a time that suits your schedule. Call (870) 270-4001 and we will sort the timing.

Serving Helena-West Helena
Helena-West Helena is the seat of Phillips County, formed in 2006 when Helena and West Helena consolidated. Helena sits on lowlands between the Mississippi River and the east side of Crowley's Ridge; West Helena sits on the ridge's western side in the flat Delta. The Helena Bridge carries US 49 across the river into Mississippi, one of only four Mississippi River bridges in Arkansas. Freight, agricultural hauling and port traffic all funnel through US 49 and the county roads that connect the river to the Delta farmland. Drivers here are often far from an interstate exit, which makes a repair crew that will drive the two-lane roads worth its weight.

Why Helena-West Helena customers need this work
Helena-West Helena's freight runs on two-lane highways, not interstates. When an air brake, cooling system or electrical fault strands a rig near the port or out on a Delta route, there is no truck stop pit full of service trucks nearby. That is where Mobile Truck Repair in Helena-West Helena earns its keep, along with Air Brake Repair in Helena-West Helena and Commercial Tire Replacement in Helena-West Helena for blowouts on US 49 or the county roads. We come out to the truck, explain the failure and the fix in plain terms, and handle most repairs on site so you avoid a tow across the ridge.

Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair sends a mechanic down US 49 to Helena-West Helena whenever a truck or trailer gives out on the river side of Crowley's Ridge. We diagnose the problem over the phone, quote the work, and roll 24 hours a day so your load keeps moving.
Helena-West Helena sits well off I-40, and most mobile services dispatched from bigger corridors either refuse the call or quote a long wait. Our shop is in Forrest City, close enough that we can run US 49 and the Delta highways without guessing at the geography. Drivers and local haulers here get a mechanic who knows the bridge approach, the port roads and the farm routes, answers the phone at 2 a.m., and tells you what the repair costs before the wrench turns. That beats waiting hours for a truck dispatched from Little Rock or Memphis.
