About

New yellow fuel filter mounted on a truck engine — Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair in Forrest City

Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair does mobile truck repair, emergency roadside repair, and trailer repair across Forrest City. When a rig goes down on I-40, Highway 1, or in a yard off Broadway, we bring the truck, the tools, and the parts to you. No tow to a shop, no waiting days for a bay. You call, we show up, and we tell you what it needs before we start turning wrenches.

This shop runs the way drivers want a repair to run. You call with a symptom. We ask the right questions, get to your location in or around Forrest City, and diagnose the problem before any work starts. Then you get a straight answer on what it costs and how long it takes.

If it is a jumpstart at 2 a.m., an air brake fix at a fuel stop in Brinkley, or a cooling system repair in your own yard, the process is the same: find the real problem, fix it right, and get you rolling. Working trucks around east Arkansas face long hauls, heavy loads, and Delta heat that kills tires, batteries, and cooling systems. We stock for the failures we see most, so most roadside calls end with a repair, not a tow.

Fleet operators and owner-operators alike get the same treatment: fair rates, honest timelines, and work we stand behind. That is why drivers on the I-40 corridor save this number before they need it.

Yesterday 10/5/26 needed a Jumpstart on my semi. Called around and got the run around. I'm a trucker familiar with the area yet not familiar with the services. Called the Ace! Rickey by chance nonetheless and my man's pulled up on me in 30 of em (meaning time 30minutes) I also need to point out Rickey was in forest city A.R. and I was in Brinkley A.R. enough of me babbling though I'll say this and leave it be. When in doubt give Rickey a shout and he'll show up and show out! And won't depart until your vehicle starts. Easy on the pockets and he won't be forgotten! At any rate I suggest you holla at Rickey Alexander a man of compassion and character. Thanks again!

Straight answers before you call

Can you work on trucks at West Memphis distribution yards and lots instead of roadside?

Yes. A lot of our West Memphis work happens at fenced freight yards and paved lots around the city, where tractors and trailers sit between loads. Working on solid ground with room to move around the unit is often faster than a shoulder call, and we can handle trailer repair, electrical diagnostics, and brake work right where the truck is parked.

How does the West Memphis street layout change how you stage a repair?

West Memphis mixes interstate ramps, wide commercial corridors, and older residential streets with tighter turns. We ask for the exact location and surface first, so the service truck can stage safely whether the unit is on an I-40 shoulder, in a yard off Broadway, or on a neighborhood street. That planning step keeps response fast and keeps the repair from blocking traffic.

What if my truck breaks down right at the Memphis river crossing?

Call us before you arrange a tow across the bridge. Many failures that strand a truck at the crossing, like air leaks, electrical faults, or a failed starter, are repairs we can make on the Arkansas side. Fixing it there saves the bridge run, the tow bill, and the hours a Memphis shop queue can add to your schedule.

Do you handle the heavier volume of trailer work a hub city generates?

We do. A freight hub means trailers waiting in yards with brake, lighting, and suspension issues, and trailers break down differently from tractors. Trailer repair in West Memphis is a core part of our work, and we can turn a parked trailer around on site so it loads on schedule instead of missing a dispatch.

How much does a mobile truck repair cost?

Price comes down to four things: what the repair actually involves, the parts it needs, how long the work runs, and whether the truck is roadside or parked. Before any wrench turns, you get a clear estimate built from those factors, so you know the number before we start and nothing changes after.

What areas do you serve around Forrest City, AR?

We run out of Forrest City and cover the I-40 corridor plus surrounding towns: Brinkley, Wynne, Marianna, West Memphis, Marion, Helena-West Helena, Hughes, Earle, Parkin, Palestine, and Colt. Call (870) 270-4001 with your location and we will confirm we can reach you and how soon.

How soon can you come out for a repair?

Breakdown calls move as fast as you can get us a location. Planned work, like fleet maintenance or a pre-trip inspection, gets booked at a time that fits your route. The sooner you call, the sooner we roll, so ring (870) 270-4001 as soon as you know you need us.

Are you open nights and weekends?

Yes. Trucks do not break down on a schedule, so we run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A 2 a.m. air brake fault near West Memphis or a Sunday cooling system failure outside Wynne both get answered. Call any hour and we will tell you what happens next.

What should I do while waiting for roadside service?

Move off the roadway as far as you safely can, set your hazards, and note a mile marker, exit, or crossroads. Then call (870) 270-4001 with a short description of the problem. Those details let us load the right parts and tools so one trip does the job.

What happens when you arrive at my truck?

First we look the truck or trailer over and explain what we found before any repair starts. You get the plan and the price up front, then the work happens on site. Most roadside calls are finished where you sit, which means you drive out instead of waiting on a tow.

Do you fix both the tractor and the trailer on one visit?

Yes. One call covers the whole rig: semi trucks, trailers, air brakes, tires, electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, and more, all from the mobile unit. A tractor and trailer do not need two different shops, and the work happens wherever the combination is parked or stopped in our area.

Do I need an appointment or can I call for a same-day fix?

Both work. Breakdowns get priority, so same-day roadside response is the normal way we operate. Planned jobs like transmission repair or alternator and starter replacement can be booked ahead at a time that suits your schedule. Call (870) 270-4001 and we will sort the timing.

Serving West Memphis

West Memphis is the largest city in Crittenden County and sits directly across the Mississippi River from Memphis, Tennessee, inside the Memphis metropolitan area. That geography makes it one of the highest-volume truck towns in the state: interstate traffic funneling toward the river crossings, distribution yards, and the older neighborhoods and commercial strips that grew up around the ferry and rail crossings that date back to Hopefield and the first Memphis and Little Rock Railroad terminal. Freight is the local economy. When a rig goes down here, it is usually in traffic, at a yard, or on a ramp, not parked comfortably somewhere.

Why West Memphis customers need this work

Volume is the reason truck repair matters in West Memphis. Every freight lane between Little Rock and Memphis passes through or around this city, so air brake repair in West Memphis and commercial tire replacement in West Memphis are not occasional calls, they are daily work. Add the river-plain heat that kills cooling systems and the stop-and-go interstate traffic that works brakes and electrical systems hard, and the demand only grows. Emergency roadside repair in West Memphis, trailer repair, and diesel engine repair keep a truck moving instead of sitting in a yard across from Memphis waiting on a tow.

Why Choose Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair for Mobile truck and trailer repair in West Memphis

West Memphis has no shortage of repair options, but many dispatch from Memphis or Little Rock and an hour of river-bridge and interstate traffic later, your driver is still waiting. We are based in Forrest City, close enough to reach Crittenden County quickly, and we answer 24 hours a day. You talk to someone who knows the corridor, gets a straight diagnosis, and quotes the rate before the work starts. For a truck on a deadline, that beats a tow across the bridge.
