About

New yellow fuel filter mounted on a truck engine — Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair in Forrest City

Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair does mobile truck repair, emergency roadside repair, and trailer repair across Forrest City. When a rig goes down on I-40, Highway 1, or in a yard off Broadway, we bring the truck, the tools, and the parts to you. No tow to a shop, no waiting days for a bay. You call, we show up, and we tell you what it needs before we start turning wrenches.

This shop runs the way drivers want a repair to run. You call with a symptom. We ask the right questions, get to your location in or around Forrest City, and diagnose the problem before any work starts. Then you get a straight answer on what it costs and how long it takes.

If it is a jumpstart at 2 a.m., an air brake fix at a fuel stop in Brinkley, or a cooling system repair in your own yard, the process is the same: find the real problem, fix it right, and get you rolling. Working trucks around east Arkansas face long hauls, heavy loads, and Delta heat that kills tires, batteries, and cooling systems. We stock for the failures we see most, so most roadside calls end with a repair, not a tow.

Fleet operators and owner-operators alike get the same treatment: fair rates, honest timelines, and work we stand behind. That is why drivers on the I-40 corridor save this number before they need it.

Yesterday 10/5/26 needed a Jumpstart on my semi. Called around and got the run around. I'm a trucker familiar with the area yet not familiar with the services. Called the Ace! Rickey by chance nonetheless and my man's pulled up on me in 30 of em (meaning time 30minutes) I also need to point out Rickey was in forest city A.R. and I was in Brinkley A.R. enough of me babbling though I'll say this and leave it be. When in doubt give Rickey a shout and he'll show up and show out! And won't depart until your vehicle starts. Easy on the pockets and he won't be forgotten! At any rate I suggest you holla at Rickey Alexander a man of compassion and character. Thanks again!

Straight answers before you call

How does Delta weather affect truck breakdowns around Marion?

East Arkansas seasons shape the call list. Summer heat pushes cooling systems and batteries hard on reefer units, while humid cold snaps in winter kill weak starters and crack old air lines, which is when brake and no-start calls spike. Spring storms leave standing water on low ground west of Marion, so electrical faults from water intrusion pick up too. We stock for the failures this weather actually causes.

Is there a good time of year for fleet maintenance in Marion?

Every season helps a different system. Late fall is the smart window for battery, starter, and alternator checks before the first freeze, and spring works well for cooling system service ahead of Delta summer heat. For I-55 fleets running out of Marion, a pre-trip inspection rhythm through the year costs far less than a roadside failure in January or August.

Do you handle reefer and dry van trailers on the I-55 corridor?

Yes. Trailer repair is a core part of the work we do around Marion, from air brake and lighting problems to mechanical failures on both reefer and dry van units. Most trailer issues can be diagnosed and fixed at the roadside or at a yard, so the load does not have to be cross-docked or towed.

What does a mobile repair in Marion cost compared to a tow?

A tow into Memphis or West Memphis runs a service call plus towing plus shop wait time, often hours of a driver's log. A mobile call brings the repair to the truck, so you pay for the work instead of the hook. We quote the job clearly before we start, and many roadside fixes cost less than the tow alone would have.

How much does a mobile truck repair cost?

Price comes down to four things: what the repair actually involves, the parts it needs, how long the work runs, and whether the truck is roadside or parked. Before any wrench turns, you get a clear estimate built from those factors, so you know the number before we start and nothing changes after.

What areas do you serve around Forrest City, AR?

We run out of Forrest City and cover the I-40 corridor plus surrounding towns: Brinkley, Wynne, Marianna, West Memphis, Marion, Helena-West Helena, Hughes, Earle, Parkin, Palestine, and Colt. Call (870) 270-4001 with your location and we will confirm we can reach you and how soon.

How soon can you come out for a repair?

Breakdown calls move as fast as you can get us a location. Planned work, like fleet maintenance or a pre-trip inspection, gets booked at a time that fits your route. The sooner you call, the sooner we roll, so ring (870) 270-4001 as soon as you know you need us.

Are you open nights and weekends?

Yes. Trucks do not break down on a schedule, so we run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A 2 a.m. air brake fault near West Memphis or a Sunday cooling system failure outside Wynne both get answered. Call any hour and we will tell you what happens next.

What should I do while waiting for roadside service?

Move off the roadway as far as you safely can, set your hazards, and note a mile marker, exit, or crossroads. Then call (870) 270-4001 with a short description of the problem. Those details let us load the right parts and tools so one trip does the job.

What happens when you arrive at my truck?

First we look the truck or trailer over and explain what we found before any repair starts. You get the plan and the price up front, then the work happens on site. Most roadside calls are finished where you sit, which means you drive out instead of waiting on a tow.

Do you fix both the tractor and the trailer on one visit?

Yes. One call covers the whole rig: semi trucks, trailers, air brakes, tires, electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, and more, all from the mobile unit. A tractor and trailer do not need two different shops, and the work happens wherever the combination is parked or stopped in our area.

Do I need an appointment or can I call for a same-day fix?

Both work. Breakdowns get priority, so same-day roadside response is the normal way we operate. Planned jobs like transmission repair or alternator and starter replacement can be booked ahead at a time that suits your schedule. Call (870) 270-4001 and we will sort the timing.

Serving Marion

Marion is the county seat of Crittenden County and the second largest city in the county behind West Memphis. It sits on the I-55 corridor just north of West Memphis, connecting Memphis freight traffic to Missouri and the Midwest. The city is part of the Memphis metropolitan area, bordered by Sunset and Clarkedale to the north, with flat Mississippi Alluvial Plain terrain, low-lying overflow ground west of town, and Delta farmland all around. Local freight, agricultural hauling, and Memphis-area distribution traffic all pass through, and drivers who break down here are minutes from the Arkansas-Tennessee line, which makes fast local response the difference between a short delay and a long tow.

Why Marion customers need this work

I-55 through Marion funnels reefer and dry van freight toward the Memphis bridges, and that traffic keeps three services in constant demand: Emergency Roadside Repair in Marion for drivers stopped on the shoulder or at the truck parking near the exits, Trailer Repair in Marion for air lines, doors, and electrical faults that show up at the worst time, and Air Brake Repair in Marion, since cold mornings on the Delta lowlands are hard on brake systems. Add commercial tire work and diagnostics, and a mobile crew means the load keeps its schedule instead of waiting on a tow into Memphis.

Why Choose Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair for Mobile truck and trailer repair in Marion

Rickey Alexander Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair covers Marion, Arkansas with roadside service built around the I-55 corridor. Trucks running between the Memphis bridges and the Missouri line carry heavy freight past the Crittenden County seat every hour, and a blown tire or air line failure can strand a driver at a Marion exit with no shop nearby. We are based in Forrest City, close enough to reach the Marion exits quickly, and we answer the phone around the clock. Local familiarity matters too: we know the corridor, the exits, and the yards between Marion and West Memphis, so we find you faster and bring the parts that actually fail on this stretch.
